With this “filter” you can close an opening in filter wheels light-tight. This allows you to create dark images with cameras without their own shutter and to realize a “park” position of a filter wheel.

The Astronomik Dark-Filters fit perfectly in all filter wheels of the brands Askar, Astroasis, Astromania, Atik, Brightstar Quantum, FLI, Hercules, Moravian Instruments, OGMA, Omegon, Orion, Pegasus Astro, Player One, QHY, QSI, RisingCam, SBIG, Starfield, Starlight Xpress, Svbony, ToupTek, True Technology Ltd and ZWO.
