The new CS76700 is a 76mm newtonian reflector with 700mm focal length, giving the sweet spot for beginners and amateurs to start their passion for the night sky. A perfect balance of aperture and focal length to give you good light gathering power and magnification that is suitable for observation of Moon, planets and deep space objects. The three eyepieces gives you different magnifications suited for different objects to observe. The erecting eyepiece aloows you to see terrestrial objects up right which allows for a good view of the scenery when traveling to mountains. A 2X barlow allows for higher magnification that you achieve just by placing eyepieces.
The telesocpe tube is newtonian design and is made up of Aluminium which allows for light weight construction without compromising on strength. Metal mirror cell provides sturdiness and retains collimation longer than you need. The mount is dual fork mount, a design used in several highend motorised telesopes. the locking nut are metallic to withstand rough usage and tightening of parts stronger without the fear of snapping. The tripod is extendable allowing the change in height for these telescopes. This allows people of all age to use the telescope easily. The tripod comes with an accessory tray which can hold all accessories.
The 5×25 viewfinder allows for easy finding of celestial objects and easy to align using the three screws provided to collimate. Focusing the setup is also very easy. The 1.25″ metallic Rack n Pinion focuser accepts all 1.25″ eyepieces which means you can add more variations of eyepieces to your kit. The telescope also comes with micro-feather cloth which alloes for cleaning of eyepiece lens and viewfinder lens easily.
